About the Pet Sitter Leslee Drury Benfield |
My Philosophy |
Animal lover and pet owner since 1969, I’ve had the pleasure of loving a variety of pets over the years. These include a cat, three dogs, a mated pair of finches, a guinea pig, two hamsters, a parakeet, and tropical fish. I’ve had most of these pets as an adult, so I have experience with caring for all types of animals. I am currently a proud pet mommy to a sweet toy poodle (see picture) and a betta fish. I completed my Red Cross Pet First Aid class in November 2006.
I also rode show horses for about two years, and worked part-time as a groom at Rock Creek Riding Club one summer. I have worked with a friend's horse most recently, and took a refresher course in riding english saddle. I also worked with the horses at the stable where I took my riding lessons.
