Tips for Pet Owner

* Be sure your pet is well socialized, and will allow a stranger to handle them.

* Make reservations as early as possible, especially if this is the first time with a new pet sitter.

* Make sure your pet is up to date on any vaccinations, and has an ID tag on it's collar.

* Leave supplies and food in one place, and have extra food on hand in case you are gone longer than expected.

* Leave a working house key with a trustworthy neighbor or relative as a backup.

* Show the pet sitter any safety features in your home such as gas and water shut-offs, circuit breaker box, and security system.

* Leave the phone numbers of a Plumber, Electrician and HVAC Repair in case of an emergency. Remember the pet sitter is watching the house too.

* Take your pet sitter's phone number with you, in case plans change or you need to check-up on your pet to ease your mind.
